What is Virtual Mini Portfolio Day?
Virtual Mini Portfolio Day is a day sponsored by ArtConnectED (formally the IHSAE) where we connect students with college representatives from as many art schools as possible. We provide opportunities for students to have personal portfolio reviews and to attend various informational sessions with the colleges. This event is the first step for many students as they begin researching where they might want to go to school.
What are some new features this year?
We will be hosting Mini Portfolio Day via zoom this year. Each session will have an individual link so you can easily go back and forth between sessions. Also, we will have sessions focused on alumni and previous IHSAE students to learn more about their individual artistic journey. However, the most exciting new feature is that it's not actually Mini Portfolio Day...the fun will extend until November 19th! Stay tuned for nightly sessions!
Who can attend?
Mini Portfolio Day is free to all students! The Saturday day is focused mainly on juniors, seniors, and their parents, but the Mini Portfolio Week sessions are open to ALL art students!
What if I can't make some of the sessions?
We will try to have everything recorded from the day so you can access it at a later date! No Worries!
